Local marketers located in the Inland Empire may now have a new opportunity. While it's common for companies to make sponsorship deals by selling naming rights to whoever wants it, it's not common for a city to do the same. The City of Riverside recently voted to hire an Ohio-based consultant to determine the viability of selling naming rights to a few locations to raise revenue for the city. If it's found viable naming rights could be available in late 2023 or early 2024 for the Fox Performing Arts Center, the Main Library, the Riverside Convention Center, and The Food Lab, which were all on a preliminary list of sites. Here's hoping for the Taco Bell Performing Arts Center.
